About Glossy

As conference interpreters, we have all created paper glossaries that we would never use again.

We have copied and pasted terms from IATE and other sources into Excel spreadsheets, only to watch them grow too large to be useful in the booth.

We've hurriedly tried to help colleagues with terminology on paper notes, hoping they could understand our handwriting.

And we have done hours of individual meeting preparation that could have been useful to entire teams, if only there had been a better way to share it.

I created Glossy – Smart Glossaries to make meeting preparation, booth work, and collaboration with colleagues simpler and more efficient:

Glossy is the product of hundreds of hours of coding by a single interpreter, with the aim of making our lives as interpreters easier and helping improve the way we work in the booth.
